In the generic OpenVPN app, they would connect, but no traffic would flow or they would connect and keep disconnecting and reconnecting. They would only work in their Windows app. As a matter of fact, their files would not work with the generic OpenVPN client app. So, there couldn't be anything that they would be able to do on my system that I am not already doing.
The config files, of course, were nearly Identical to the ones that I use for other OpenVPN servers. I can hardly imagine who did that or how it was possible for such a gigantic mess like that to ever even converge to be operational at all. I must say that their support / text chat / web interface is the worst disaster I have ever seen. I spent hours with the tech support and they created several config files for me and I created several on their web interface. Will look for iperf tests - I am not familiar with that.
